About Business + Consumer Confidence theme - Create Change Through Design Exhibition

The theme of business + consumer confidence focuses on addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by Chinese consumers and businesses. It uses design as an inspiration for change.

The challenges include investors' hesitation, the concentration of power in President Xi Jinping's third term, delays in making policy choices, and communication struggles between the government and the public, all of which are dynamics of China's economy.

Students from SBC and China are partnering to address this theme by developing a range of multidisciplinary solutions.

The app, BOOST, is designed to support both consumers and businesses, by providing them with a platform that is transparent and accessible. Designed by SBC5.

This tea house is envisioned to become a community hub in JiangCun Village, embodying innovation, empathy, and problem-solving abilities. Designed by XLJTU16.

ETHICA

ETHICA hopes to assess the ethical and sustainable state of various Chinese fashion businesses.
